That is the number of organizations we want powering wellness challenges on STEPathON — teams where moving together is part of how work gets done.

The live counter on our homepage shows every company we have ever worked with: free trials, one-off challenges, long-term customers, and everything in between. Right now you can see exactly how far we have come. That is intentional.

Why 1,000?

We did not pick this number because it sounds good. We picked it because of what happens at scale.

Below 1,000, we are still proving the model. At 1,000, the model proves itself.

What we count

Touched means any organization that has created an account on STEPathON and started working with us — whether they launched a free challenge, ran a paid competition, or are still setting things up.

We count them all because this number is our honest footprint, not a filtered highlight reel. Every company in that counter is one we have actually served. Our north star of 1,000 is where we want that footprint to be when wellness challenges are a normal part of how teams move together.

What changes when we hit it

At 1,000 companies we unlock things we cannot do yet:

• Benchmarking data. We will publish anonymised wellness benchmarks by industry — how many steps the average finance-sector employee takes versus the average tech company employee. HR teams will use this to set realistic challenge targets and justify wellness budgets.
• Cause impact at scale. Every cause-linked challenge donates a portion of revenue to a mission partner. At 1,000 companies we expect to move meaningful donation volumes — enough that the mission partners themselves become a growth channel.
• Network effects. Employees move between companies. When a person has already used STEPathON at a previous employer, onboarding at a new org takes minutes. The more companies we power, the faster every new company ramps.

Where we are today

We are building in public. The live counter pulls from our database in real time. No manual updates, no rounding up, no creative accounting.

Every company you see in that number is one we have worked with. And every company that is not in that number yet is one we are actively working toward.
